Since 2004 Benedikt has been active as a professional offshore skipper around the world. In 2008 he got engaged as an instructor and coach for teams, e.g. at regattas like the Rolex Middle Sea Race or the Antigua Sailing Week on the Volvo Ocean Racer open 70 “Green Dragon”. Since his education as a coach in 2012, he has increasingly used his expertise as a facilitator for leaders and teams.
Benedikt holds the Swiss A-, D-, and offshore sailing license, and is certified as RYA Yachtmaster Offshore Sail and Power commercially endorsed, RYA Cruising Instructor Power, is long range/GMDSS certified. You should not be surprised if you find him cooking a five-course menu in the galley.

Irene looks after the administrative processes of the Swiss Sailing Academy. She is also responsible for finances, marketing and sales, and social media. As a passionate sailor, you will find her usually in the Caribbean during wintertime.
With her vast skill set, Irene is the heart of the team. And not just her ability to speak six languages fluently makes her irreplaceable for all the projects she gets involved with.

Offshore racing is what Nina loves the most. As sailing and racing instructor she likes to share her knowledge and passion. Her background as a certified nurse makes her super valuable for any long-distance race. The experience of taking on high responsibilities makes her an asset in communication and leadership. Whenever she is not sailing, Nina is either fixing boats, cycling, or planning to take part in the Mini Transat Race.

The name TIMON says it all – it means helmsman in Latin, and he is the most passionate sailor and powerboat instructor who understands physics and precision like no one else. If he is not sailing, you will find him driving the biggest truck, or crane, or any other heavy machine with high precision.

While Romeo helps all these beautiful people to fulfill their dreams, reach their goals, and to define their missions, he is on a mission himself.
