The Swiss Sailing Academy is based in Seedorf, at Lake Uri, Switzerland. The small port Bolzbach has a good infrastructure and lies in the middle of a great sailing area.
Lake Uri, an approximately 12 km long part of Lake Lucerne, is well known for its windy conditions. During summer months thermal winds dominate the area. In addition, there’s the foehn, a strong southerly wind.
Beside the good wind conditions Lake Uri also has a beautiful landscape. It’s the perfect place for setting sails in the heart of Switzerland, surrounded by mountains.
